Hello! Thanks for visiting the website of Silenteyes Photography! I'm Soumik, a photographer and creative writer from Kolkata, India. Not a single day goes by without me thinking about where to travel next and how many people I can reach with my photography. Traveling is a lifestyle for me. Though I work 10 to 6 as an Economist, I often pack up my life into a backpack and hit the road. I travel slow, seek offbeat and local experiences, stay in remote places as well as in top tourist destinations, take photos throughout the day (in my Nikon DSLR & iPhone) and move on. Apart from Indian cities and villages, I have been to Thailand, Bangladesh and Bhutan; explored the city life, trekked the mountains and fed myself with rich insights and experiences. Besides Street and Travel Photography, I am interested in Portrait, Still Photo and Fine Art Photography. I have been lucky enough to work with different professionals across India and many brands.
